cake batter; [noun].  the liquid mixture of ingredients used in baking. 

 

The best part of the cake process (to me) is the cake batter! As a child, I would wait for my mother to finish mixing so I could get the last remainder of the batter. I know, you shouldn’t eat cake batter with raw eggs...but who could resist. The cake batter is the foundation of the baking process. It determines the taste and texture of your cake before you even get to the oven. 

 

My love for baking started with my mother. She fostered my love of baking and encouraged me. We would bake cookies and other desserts with our red tattered Betty Crocker cookbook. Baking became my escape and my joy! 

 

Now here we are! The Cake Batter was born because of my passion to bake and provide others with delicious cakes.
